Who's James Coco?

In the words of Der Fersko, this is how to commit career suicide. My tolerance for 'awkward' is perhaps not as high as I'd like to think, I had to stop this about five times to get through it. To put this another way, scenes like this are why I wake up in the middle of every night bathed in a cold sweat after a nightmare in which I realize that I'm going to have to self-produce whatever music or books I can hopefully will myself to write :). Even so, insulting Bob Hope and Woody Allen in ten minutes of national television is an achievement not easily equalled...And look who was considered mainstream and tasteful enough in 1971 to guest-host the Tonight Show...I'm imagining it now: The Tonight Show, with Woody Allen and the Soon-Yi Previn Orchestra. What a world that would be...how has the Tonight Show come up twice on this blog in the last few days? And moreover, who's James Coco?
