One more Langgaard post today. This composer apparently really really hated Carl Nielsen (nobody's perfect), and wrote a 32-bar piece of music for huge orchestra and chorus in Nielsen's honor in 1948 for which he instructed the musicians to repeat the piece over and over again for all eternity.

The piece is entitled: Carl Nielsen, Our Great Composer! Which is also the entire text of the choral part.



I like this guy more and more.
